We enjoy working with people and our jobs enable us to visit lots of (friends) patients on a daily basis.
Most of our patients have been patients for many years. We treat their grandparents, parents and now their grandchildren too!
We also enjoy meeting new people that move into the area that want to continue dental care.
We have been very fortunate to have such wonderful staff members. We respect each other's skills and rely on their expertise to achieve our goals in patient care. These people have made our job easier and more enjoyable.
We love hearing laughter and everyone catching up with our patients.

Every Friday morning at 7:30 am, I host a radio show “A Brush with Dentistry” on KMVL 100.5 FM. My topics include anything having to do with dentistry, best practices, what to avoid, how to help children in their dental care, and much more.
A Dentist by day and Cattle Rancher by night and weekends.
I graduated Dental School in 1981. While exploring Texas for a place to start my new practice, a patient I worked on lived in Centerville and told me there was no dentist in Leon county. I immediately fell in with the area, people, serenity, and beauty that the country living offered.
I opened my practice at 912 N Commerce in Centerville. With some elbow grease and help from my parents, we installed used equipment, which was all I could afford after dental school. As time went by and my practice flourished, I replaced the used equipment with state of the art equipment!
I worked for the prison in Huntsville one day a week during that time. After quitting the prison, I taught Restorative Dentistry at the dental school in Houston, my alma mater.
I open another practice in Normanagee closer to my home. I’ve been working between the two offices for 31 years however in practice for 38+ years.
I enjoy going to continuing education to sharpen my skills and keep up with the latest trends in dentistry. In 2017, I was honored to be invited to be an Examiner for the Western Regional Examination Board which is the final examination for dental hygienists to be licensed in their perspective states.

Dennis and I were married Thanksgiving 2017 in wonderful Banff, Canada! We have been busy traveling and setting up our home! I work with Dennis in both of his Normangee and Centerville locations.
My background is in Community Relations, Marketing, Sales, Business Administration and Management. Together, with this wonderful staff, I hope to make their jobs a bit more enjoyable. And in the process, I will get to know many of the people (patients) they have grown to love over the 37+ years in business.
My hobbies are traveling, Christian clowning (yes you heard me right) alias “Lollipop the Clown”, beginning photography, running the Airbnb that Dennis and I recently started at our ranch www.helloredbarn.com, and being with people.
I have 4 successsful, redheaded children all married (or soon to be) and 9 adorable grandchildren ever!
I am thankful daily to God for all of the wonderful opportunities life has brought to me and am excited to become embedded in this great community. Please stop by and visit me, I’ve never met a stranger.
My husband, Richard, and I have been married for 30 years and between the two of us, we have 4 children, 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons, and lots of family that live nearby! We have only lived in this area for about 5 1/2 years but love the country life.

I recently joined Dr. Ellison's office but have been in the dental field for almost 40 years. I am really enjoying working with Dr. Ellison's office!

I enjoy most spending time with my family, cross stitching, reading and trying my hand at sewing.

I have worked with Dr. Ellison for 13 years and it has been great! I have lived in the Normangee area since 1983. We have a cattle ranch outside of Flynn, TX (established in 1980). I also raise red waddler pigs.
I have raised 2 children that attended Normangee and went on to college. My son is a Civil Engineer and my daughter has an accounting degree in small business management. My 5 beautiful grandchildren (3 boys & 2 girls) keep me busy. I am very lucky that my children also live in Normangee.
I enjoy the outdoors. The beach is one of my favorite places to go, but I also love to travel to Europe.
I am a people person and never meet a stranger. I enjoy helping people, so I have the perfect job to make people smile.

I was born in California, raised in Houston, and most recently lived in Fairbanks, Alaska with my Husband and our two pups!
